Is there a way to see the previous sprints an issue was a part of?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to create a filter that tracks the number of sprints an issue is carried over from. Lets say “Test issue” keeps getting rolled over to the next sprint over and over again. Can I track how many sprints it has been apart of with a filter?

Hi @Conor Sullivan

welcome to the community!

We just introduced "Number of sprints" as a special field in JXL for Jira. You can add it to your issue table just like any other fields, and sort, filter, and group your issues by it. This all works out of the box, without any kind of scripting or automation involved.

Here's how it looks in action:

(It's worth noting that JXL can do much more than that - from inline issue editing and creating, to quick sorting and filtering, to issue hierarchies and grouping, it's really a full-fledged table/spreadsheet view for your issues. More info at https://jxl.app. Disclaimer: I work on JXL :))

Hope this helps,

Hannes

Hi, if you have the ScriptRunner app installed on your Jira instance, you could create a scripted field which holds that information. Here is a community thread about that.
