Is there an email-to-board feature for Jira?

One of my favorite features in Trello for creating tasks is email-to-board.  I can't find this same feature in Jira (or Confluence).  Does it exist?  

If not, is there a way to create a Jira ticket from a Trello card?

I think you're looking for instructions on how to create issues and comments from email.
