Is there any limitation for the total attachments size?

Yevhen Saienko October 31, 2018

We can't add an attachment to the issues. We tried the different file types and sizes. Also, we tried different browsers. Is there any limitation for the total size of attachments? If no, could somebody check our account? It looks like a bug.

What does "we can't add attachments" mean?  What errors do you get?  Or is there no button for it?  Please describe the actual problem?

I create an issue and try to add any file. After this, I see this - http://joxi.ru/BA04ev9FJ0G0pA . I can wait a long time but I see not any download progress.

I have the same if I try to attach a file to any created issue - http://joxi.ru/1A59ep5CnoBoeA

Also, I get such error - http://joxi.ru/Y2LqL06s93y3yA when I try to open any of the attachments which were previously added.

Ohh, that looks like Jira can't write to the disk!  Could you be out of space?  (10 or 11 2Gb attachments will blow out your Cloud allowance for small-medium Jira systems)

Although if it is Cloud, that should not happen, it should increase your allowance (and bill) automatically.

Can you recommend what should I do with this? How can I ask to fix this?

Hi,

there is limit set for attachment to upload by default

to change it Jira settings>system>attachment

Note: Only Jira admins can do this

As I know, this parameter is the max size for the one file in attachment. Anyway, I set 2,048.00 MB for this option but it made no any effect.
