To start the another new sprint i moved the previous sprint into completed status. After that i couldn't find that completed sprint in my Jira Software. Where i can find it and Is there any possibility of moving back to a completed status sprint into in-progress status.
As @Kathy Hart mentioned you can see all the sprints in the Sprint report
- Report button on the right side of the board, and select the sprint report in the list of report option.
You can 'reopen' the completed/closed sprint in the sprint report section as well.
- Sprint Report
- select the respective sprint
- use the '...' button at the right side of the screen
- you will see option to 'reopen'
@Muthu Thiruppandy Thanks for the info.
I see that option now. I had not known that existed before.
However, in my case, since we do not have Parallel Sprints allowed, that option is grayed out.
The message says,
"This sprint can't be reopened at the moment! Complete your current active sprint, or enable Parallel Sprints to work on multiple sprints concurrently."

The only place you will see information regarding a sprint, once you mark it complete, is in the reports section of your board.
I do not believe there is any way to revert once you have closed a sprint.
However, for the future, if you have a need to have multiple Sprints active at the same time, for instance for multiple teams running on different rhythms, you can allow this in the Global settings.
Go to Settings, Products, Jira Software, Jira Software Configuration,
Select Parallel Sprints
This will allow you to have multiple sprints open at the same time. But you should only do this if you have a very good reason to do so.
This is the way it works on Cloud. Server may be different and may have a backdoor way to reopen a closed sprint.
