Is there way to add button using Script runner in Release card (in Release Management plugin)?

Hi there!
Inputs:
- Datacenter JIRA 8.15
- Script Runner 6.19 plugin
- Release Management: Workflows, Calendar & Roadmaps 4.14.18.652 plugin
I need my releases to be able to get approvals from certain users. For releases we use the Release Management: Workflows, Calendar & Roadmaps plugin.
Customers want to have a clickable button in the release card to indicate that they have received approval for the release to be delivered to production.
I assume that I can use Script Runner to display the buttons, but I don't understand how I can make the buttons clickable for certain users and have them save the state if the "Approved" button is clicked.
If after the button is pressed, the release card is commented and moved to the required status - that would be super!
If you have solved a similar problem or have any ideas, please help.
