Issue assigned to Sprint not showing on Board

We're starting our 10th Sprint with JIRA and this time the all issues assigned to our Sprint do not show on our Board (7 of 10 issues show on the board).  I've double checked Sprint assignment, workflow status, and don't see any filters which would prevent the issues from showing.

What am I missing?

Thank you for the response.  I just double checked it again and apparently forgot to change the status from Open to ToDo.  User error on my part.  Cheers, Ed

When you say "board", do you mean "planning" or "work"? 

Could you share the filter with us and then a plain JIRA view of one of the missing issues (obscure data if it's sensitive, we are just looking for the structure of the query and related data on the issue)
