Issue created - Outgoing Emails are in queue but not sent to user

Hello,

since 2 months nobodys gets outgoing emails if a issue was created (it works fine with changes but not with created issues). we use JIRA 6.2 and google mail for work/business.

we've checked several things

  • notification scheme - everything is allright, the creator are informed
  • notify me in the default user settings - activated
  • test email for outgoing email server (gmail) - works immediately
  • outgoing emails log - queue is full , creation email notification is visible, but if i flush the queue manually - no emails logged in outgoing log
  • if i repeat the testcase with updated issues (changes) , then everything works 

Could you  help us?

Take a look at the Notifications Troubleshooting guide. It contains a list of the most common reasons for this problem.
