Hello,
i'm using a team managed project.
When i create an issue from the create button in the backlog BOARD section it correctly create the issue. I can then even drag and drop it in the backlog section
If i use the create button of the backlog section (Or the create button on top of the window) , it creates the item
then it fails with this message
The issue is correctly created but it is invisible in the backlog panel, and same in the board !
Both ticket are identical (same status (To Do), same fields)
I have checked the "Columns and statuses" setting it is supposed to be existing
Fun thing is, even though i cannot see it, it is counted in the Epic stats (here showing 2 items when only one is visible)
I also have tried to create issues with differents statuses (Backlog, To Do, In progress, Done) they are never shown in the backlog
And there is not filter (except for the epic here)
One last thing, here are both tickets that i can see in List
I don't get why i can't see the Last in my board..
Hello @Fréderic Faugère
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Can you go to the project settings and provide a screen image of what you see for Columns and Statuses.
Example:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hello! Sorry for the delay, here is the board setting. As seen everything should be displayed:
Here for instance, on the epic i'm supposed to see 19 tickets (4 done, 6 in progress, 9 ToDo)
But i don't see them in the backlog or in the board...
Thanks for your help @Trudy Claspill

Thank you for that additional information @Fréderic Faugère
I notice in the Backlog image you shared that the Backlog section of the list says "0 of 5000 work items" and the Board section says "0 of 2118 work items".
According to this documentation the Board and Backlog have a limit of displaying 5000 work items. When the limit is exceeded, the items to be displayed will be the oldest items. So newer items will not be shown. That seems to match your situation.
The article has some suggestions for reducing the number of items such as clearing the Done column and moving items to a new project.

The underlying filter of a Team Managed project Kanban board can't be modified. It is designed to select all issues in the project.

I missed where he mentioned Team managed.. I like to block out that they exist.
