Issue with attachment files

Good Morning.

I have a problem with a machine, that when I attach a photo to a call in JIRA I get an error in the upper right corner saying that I need to contact the administrator. It's only on one machine, I already tested the user on another computer and it works correctly, I tested other users on that initial machine and it presents the same problem. What do I do?

Hi Guilherme,

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. You can try to add an attachment in a different browser.
  2. If it is happening only on one specific browser type, then you can try to reinstall/reset the configuration of the browser.
  3. Check if the machine has any anti-virus or firewall that is blocking the communication between the browser and JIRA server.
  4. You can check what is failing at:
    • Application logs - at JIRA Home directory/log.
    • Web browser - at Developer tools > Network tab. You will need to open this and then reproduce the error again, then you will be able to see what is failing.
