Issues are not showing in Kanban board

Anton Vishnevskiy January 17, 2024

Hi community!

We have the problem described in the summary of this article

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/issues-are-not-showing-in-kanban-board-993924923.html

We have a kanban board with the following columnsScreenshot 2024-01-17 at 10.50.50.png

And we have Hide completed issues older than configured to 2 weeks. The problem is that it hides issues in Ready for Test, Deployed, Ready for Release columns besides the one in the 'Done' column.

I've checked Cause #2 from the article and we don't have any statuses without category. So my question is about Cause #1

Cause #1

The column is configured to have a 'Done' status category.

Resolution #1

Change the status category of the column.

What does it mean to change the status category of the column? Should I change the status category for Ready for Test, Deployed, Ready for Release statuses from 'Done' to 'In Progress'?

Hi @Anton Vishnevskiy

This means that the status that have the green color is considered as "Done", Try editing the status in the workflow and change the category to "InProgress", After youhave changed the category of the status you will be able to view the issue in the Board.

Thanks.
