Issues in Backlog and Future sprints are not visible through the Backlog view

Vasundhara Shrestha October 15, 2018

Hi,

I had a couple of user stories assigned to the backlog and some into Future Sprints (Sprint 3 and 4). Over last week I noticed that Backlog and Future Sprints are empty.

I know they have not disappeared entirely from JIRA because I can retrieve them when I run a filter for Sprint 3, 4 etc.

I can confirm that I have no quick filters selected at the top, not selected an epic on the right, and that the project(s) associated with my board is correct.

Would really appreciate help.

Thanks in advance,

Vas

Hello,

Could you make sure that these not visible issues can be selected by the JQL filter, which you defined for this board (board settings -> general)?

Hi Alex,

Firstly, thanks for responding.

Not sure what you mean. We are currently on Sprint 3 (Active Sprint) and all the issues are visible.

However Sprint 4 and the backlog also have user stories which normally I would view it from the backlog and future sprint view but for some reason have disappeared. I can view the Sprint 4 future sprint and backlog issues through a JQL filter though.

Hope that makes sense :)

Kind regards,

Vas

Hello!

Any update on where I can find "Clear all filters?

I am unable to view issues in my backlog and cannot create a New Sprint too.

Kind regards,

Vas
