It will be possible change the permission from JIra administrator?

Hi all,

I have an user jira-master-admin from the type (JIRA System Administrators).

This user has Ability to perform all administration functions. Great.

I created another user admin but from the type (JIRA Administrators) and i would like that this user cannot change the workflow from the project .

Please how can i change the permission from (JIRA Administrators) . It is possible ?

I'm not 100% clear on what you are asking,

You can remove a user from a security group, but you cannot create custom permissions.

If what you want to do is remove a user from that group:

Login with your administrator login.

On the top right click on the username(administrator) and then click administration

Click User Management>Groups>Jira Administrators

There should be a button 'edit members', click that. You can now just select the user and press "leave".

I is not possible to remove that permission from JIRA Administrators. Atleast it is not configurable. You might be able to do it by modifying the JIRA code.

But I would like to create permission scheme for that Jira administrator cannot change the workflow.

I would like that only JIRA System Administrators can change the workflow..
