Hello, solving issue in our company and I've question if its possible to clone a task as it own subtask.. We need to have one parent task and then its subtask, but subtask should have different component and assignee.
Thx for tip
Yes it's possible, first clone the issue and then convert the cloned issue to sub-task.
see here - https://confluence.qbeeurope.com/display/HP/Converting+an+Issue+to+a+Sub-Task
Once it's converted to sub-task you can then link it to the original issue which would now be the parent.

Possible but not a great idea because then you will have the same info in two places. Better to create a new subtask and selectively copy the key information to that subtask

No, there isn't any other way, generally people use plugins like "Script Runner" , "Create Sub-task" which are paid, which create sub-tasks on workflow transitions only.
