JIRA 7 release date

Is there a JIRA 7.0 release date or an expected quarter ?

I am in JIRA 6.1 and I am wondering if it is worth upgrade 6.4 or wait 7.0 ?

Well, Atlassian Summit is in early November this year. Most years have a big release of JIRA just before Summit. So it would not surprise me if that happened again this year.
