JIRA Github App Permission update

Hi - We received a notification from Github this morning notifying our teams that the JIRA was requesting Write permission for Deployments. We cannot find any justification or notice to this requested change and would like to know more about why it's being requested.

If you click the link in the email notification, then login to github, on the page where you can choose to accept the new permissions, there is a Developer note that provides more context:

Essentially, to make this new feature (deployment gating) functional within Jira Service Management Cloud, there are some permission changes within the Github for Jira Cloud app necessary that the app did not require previously.
