JIRA- How to find out where a customfield is being used?

Is there any SQL query that might tell if a customfield is being used in any dashboard/filters?

The SQL would only be able to fetch the filter strings, and the whole of the board config, finding exactly where a custom field has been confiugred for use would involve knowing how to interpret all of that.

Look in the searchrequest and gadgetuserpreference for the direct reads of filters and dashboard gadget configs
