JIRA Insights API - create an inbound reference between 'Server' objects and 'Group' meta data

Hi,

I'm looking for some assistance with regards on which method to use to update a referencedObject e.g. add servers to and Group defined as meta data

The Group Object can have multiple Servers associated with it

I've tried using the same method I'm using to update server details, but targeting the the Group as the objectId instead with no success.

/rest/insight/1.0/object/{id}

Is this possible using the REST API?  Can anyone point me towards the right method/procedure or provide me an example, please?
