I am currently installing JIRA on my server and the current step is to set-up the first Administrator Account. But JIRA seems to run into the following error:
User cannot be added. All user directories are read-only.
Now I want to edit the user lists/user directories and remove the read-only flag. But where are the user directories located?
Additional informations:
I am no expert, but have you checked the user account credentials for the external DB? Sounds to me like JIRA can't write to the DB at all, or at least not to the proper schema/tables...
Dear Sten,
thanks for your message but this was not the issue. I had to install the newest JDBC-PostgreSQL driver for JIRA.
This here helped me a lot: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-44216
