Hi team

When we perform LDAP sychronization we are getting  following message

"Last sychronized at Date UTC format"

But we have set the Time format as BST in Jira Global configuration .

Kindly let us know why time in the Last synchronized message is different from time format in global configuration

Within JIRA, you can't actually set the timezone that the system is using.  You can only set the timezone default for users, or you can change your personal profile's timezone.

By default JIRA is just using the system timezone of the host server it is running on.  There is a way to change this without changing the server timezone, however it will require a JVM startup arugment to be applied and then JIRA has to be restarted for this change to take effect.  Details on how to do this are in Setting the timezone for the Java environment
