how do we configure LDAP in JIRA. which file should be configured in the JIRA server

@Padmasree PWhat do you mean by files? If configuration files, no need to.

It should work if you follow the provided link and demo video. You should have jira system administration global permission and have to configure through Jira admin UI. It is great idea to test it first in development instance.

yes I was checking whether we have to edit any configuration files in the server.

You can configure your LDAP directory from user directory which is available in User Management..
