Thanks

Hello @Hiti Verma ,

Hope you are doing good!!

Please follow the below steps:

  1.  Go to Settings > Issues > Priorities.
  2. There you should see a list of the current priorities with one of them being noted as default (ex. Low )
  3. You should be able to click on the word Default on the right-hand side of one of the other priorities to set it as the default.

Note:

  • this is a system setting So it will change it for all projects and
  • I need to be a system admin to make this change

Hope this information helps!!

Cheers,
Mayur

Hi @Hiti Verma,

I'm afraid you can't define a priority scheme per Project in Jira. It's only available globally.

Atlassian documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/defining-priority-field-values-938847101.html

Feature suggestion: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-21455

A workaround would be using Automation for Jira to set the priority for specific projects.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,

Melo
