JIRA SYSTEM ADMIN RIGHTS WITH READ ONLY PERMISSION

Hi,

Is there any way where we can have Jira System Admin rights with read only permission. WE are currently using JIRA 4.2 and may have uprade to JIRA 4.4.

No - you're either an admin, wiht access to change things, or you're not.

Jira 4.4 does show more project configuration to non-admin users, but it's a long way from showing everything (and you probably don't want to - some admin settings can have security aspects...)

It will be great if atlassian provides this feature as we have support guys who could be given this right witout edit option.
