JIRA Slack Integration Bug Regarding Links and > character

I created a JIRA ticket in my project with the name

"This is a > Test > Ticket < Bug < Test"

and it synced to Slack with the link cut off at the second ">" character and then appended the ">" to the end of the title.

Hi Travis, Are you using the Jira for Slack connector? If so, maybe you can contact their support (https://slack.com/intl/en-ie/help/articles/218475657-Jira-for-Slack)?

I don't use this connector but Halp which allows me to connect Jira and Slack. So far I've been very satisfied with the way it works.
