Is there anything I can do to address this slow-query log entry?
2018-04-04 05:08:10,375 Caesium-1-2 INFO [c.a.j.i.search.providers.LuceneSearchProvider_SLOW] JQL query 'order by updated DESC' produced lucene query '*:*' and took '423' ms to run.
The atlassian-jira-slow-queries.log logs anything above 400 ms hence this could be a one-off occurrence where a query took slightly longer than usual. If that's the case, there isn't a need to address it.
Other than that, are there any impact to Jira operations when it happens?
No impact whatsoever.
Just for my education, what would you recommend if this was not the case? Is there any built-in support for adding indices?
