Here's what I get on the Support Tools screen:
Checks if there is enough free space to backup and restore index.
Low disk space on device containing temporary directory (/opt/jira/temp) - 3 GB of free space remaining. Index backup and recovery may fail.

Has anyone faced this issue? I wonder why this looks up to installation directory as search index saved in home directory.
Although the search index is not stored there per se, this should be the default temp folder for either the system or the JVM. It is still vital to maintain a decent amount of space as you don't know what other developers of add ons might use as their temp location.
I see. It's just now occupies 500M, and partition has 3G free space. I wonder how much needed to have to make that alert message go away.
