Hi,
I'm trying to configure an application link in Bamboo (version 3.2.2) and JIRA (version 4.2.1). At the moment when I try and configure the application link, it seems that it's setup correctly, however when I select a build, I see the message:
"Could not obtain issue details from JIRA"
When I click on the link to the issue, it goes to the URL: http://bamboo/project/jiraRedirect.action?jiraIssueKey=ABC-123&bambooProjectKey=DEF
But the page is a Bamboo one and displays the message:
"An unexpected error has occurred"
From the Bamboo logs, all I can see is:
"Cannot find link to JIRA project [ABC] in Bamboo application links"
Is the version of JIRA too old to be compatible with this version of Bamboo?
Does it work if you follow these instructions: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-9868?focusedCommentId=271592 ?
This sounds like what I needed. I've uploaded the plugin, but it doesn't seem to have recognised it. I'm assuming it needs a JIRA restart?

Yes, please restrart JIRA. If that does not work, please open a support case (support.atlassian.com) and attach Bamboo and JIRA log.

After restarting JIRA, the plugin was enabled and Bamboo-JIRA integration works.
