JIRA auto creation of ticket

Hi Guys,

 

I want to auto create a JIRA ticket, every first day of the month or quarterly, for a monthly routine maintenance of our data centres. Is it possible? Scope of works are just the same. Only the month will vary. 

 

Hope anyone could assist me on this. Thank you.

Automation for Jira is the way to go.

Hi Jimmy,

 

Thanks for your advice. Seems that Rule 2 in the blog is for the staled issues?

What I wish is to automatically create a JIRA Ticket

- every first working day of the month

- leave as unassigned

- automatically tagged me my account as watcher

- this is for a monthly routine of our data centres

 

Is it possible? Thank you.

Hi Yanna, you can absolutely do that. Install a trial and you should be able to figure it out quite easily, otherwise the support team is great, or you can post back here with screenshots if you get stuck.
