Hi everybody,
I tried to set up our JIRA web instance according to this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-jira-cloud-to-send-emails-on-behalf-of-your-domain-900996548.html Testing it with https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-jira-cloud-to-send-emails-on-behalf-of-your-domain-900996548.html was successful.
Under POP-/IMAP-Mailserver, inside the email settings of the admin menu, I gave JIRA an Office 365 email account to work with. Testing the connection to the account was successful. There is no other email account set up in this category.
I created a mail handler, named it Comments, and connected it to the above mentioned mailserver. Paramaters are set to:
createusers=false,senderEmail=no-reply@new-company-name.atlassian.net,stripquotes=true,bulk=ignore
There is only this one entry beneath Mailhandler.
Still, when I send a test mail, I will receive it from:
bounce@spemail-us.atlassian.net on behalf of my.user.name <jira@old-company-name.atlassian.net
This only happened after I successfully activated DKIM, alongside SPF, for our company domain. Before that, mails from JIRA came through with no-reply@old-company-name.atlassian.net
Note: The change from the old to the new company name was just an overdue formality I completed, while I was at it.
Can someone please help me? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Ingo
