Hi, we need to backup a JIRA Cloud instance.

The export feature creates a jira-export.zip that is 19.88 GB in size. This zip is missing most of the media attachments. We have retried this with the same result.

Can I please get help from Atlassian to download the rest of the media attachments?

Thanks.

Hey @Iain Shepherd

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Just to confirm, did you check this box when generating a new backup? If yes, and the attachments are still missing, I recommend creating a support ticket so the team can troubleshoot this further.

A colleague asked the Atlassian Support Bot which pointed at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-11743.

Just another serious issue unfixed for years.

Thanks for your reply Karan.

Hi @Iain Shepherd

Get in touch with Atlassian Support: Create a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com and state that the media attachments in your backup zip file are missing. Using your instance as an example, explain the issue with the backup size or content missing.
