JIRA issue will not close

Hi,

I have a project and one of the issues is in status 'Resolved'.  If we choose to 'Close' the issue it will do nothing just kind of refresh the window).  It keeps stating that the Resolution field must be filled in, even though it already is. If we change the Resolution, the issue can be closed.  

I have already 're-indexed' the project and we are using the default 'permission scheme' (confirmed I have close issue permissions).

What else can I look for?

Hi Julio,

you could look for any Conditions or Validators in your Workflow, that prevent the issue from being closed while not changing the resolution.

I don't see this anywhere in the workflow.  I also have another 'test' project and used the same (schemes; workflow, screen, etc) and when I choose to close from a resolve status, it closes as it should without having to change the resolution.  

Anything else I can look at?
