Hi All

When i am trying to run the Coverage Report under traceability Reports to get a traceability matrix between issues and test cases  and if the number of test cases or issues is very big the query takes too long time and it doesn't return any data

i want to know how to solve this problem and it there is a Query to run through the database to get the same data of traceability

Note : i have checked the Application server and DB server resources while running the query and everything was fine

Hi @kareem alaa,

unfortunately if the dataset is too big, your query will time out. Is it possible, at all, to reduce the number of issues?

I know that would be a pain but sometimes there is no other option.

I mean there is, you could try to use EazyBI or PowerBI. EazyBI is a bit more integrated and it can handle insanely large amount of data but it's a paid addon. If you're looking to solve it using standard Jira, you might need to resort to the first option.

Let me know what you think.

@kareem alaa, I don’t know that I can assist you here but wanted to ask if you are using an addon associated with your test cases. If so, I wonder if the performance issue is associated with the addon.
