JIRA synch

Hi,

Working in multi site project, both sites have Jira.

Defects are generated automatically from ALM software and getting those to my site JIRA without problems. Wondering is there way to automatically push selected defects to another JIRA without replicating whole database....

We have ex automation of jira plugin in use so it would be easy to construct required defect list via JQL only issue is that how I could push those to another site JIRA ?

I would get a tool specifically designed for synchronisation - Automation is concerned with the local Jira not another one.

I've used Backbone and Exalate for this in the past.  They both do a full synchronisation, on-going, so you can tie remote projects together, but they both would allow you to do the one-off sync you've described here too.

Hi Jouni,

I'm with the team behind exalate.

FYI - you can use automation for Jira to trigger synchronisations
