JIRA team member doesn't have dropdown options to make filter public.

Anjana Shrivastava November 27, 2023

Hey There,

One of our JIRA Admin unable to share filters for bug tracking in testing. Despite saving the filter, they encounter limited options in the dropdown menu, with only 'Private' available for viewer rights, and face an error message ('You do not have permission to share. All shares are invalid') when attempting to grant Editor rights. Attached are screenshots for reference.

Hello @Anjana Shrivastava

There is a Global Permission that needs to be granted in order for a user to be able to share a filter.

Make sure that the user is a member of one of the groups granted that permission.
