When im resolving a ticket in JIRA im not able to see the resolved check mark when im selecting done. It still remains in the Unresolved state, but the transition goes to Done. I tried to edit the workflow and add a post function which says "The Resolution of the issue is set to Done", but im not able to find this option even while adding a post function. Could someone please help me on this issue?

Hi @Nithin VS,

When you talk about adding a post function, that means you are configuring the workflow of a company managed project.

The post function you need is Update Issue Field. You can select the Resolution field there and choose the desired option from the list.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Nithin VS ,

I would recommend creating a screen that uses rhe resolution field. Now use this screen in your workflow when transitioning from In-Progress to Done.

This will help you "Resolve" Your issue when marking it as DONE.

Another check I recommend is clearing the resolution when the ticket gets reopened.

Hope this helps. 🙂
