I have a custom issue type and I recently added JMWE to my setup. I was hoping to use a post function of type "set fields" to update a custom field on the custom issue type. However, JMWE's Event Based Action Editor does not recognize any of my custom issue types. So the post function setup also doesn't recognize any of the custom fields on those types. Is JMWE not able to complete this task or is there some non-intuitive way I have to do it?
My project is a team managed project and the custom issue types are at the project level. Is that possibly the problem?
Thanks.
Hi @robert shoults ,
You are correct, JMWE doesn't support team-managed projects, which work completely differently from company-managed projects.
Hello @robert shoults , I received this pop-up when I went to download JSU, which states that JMWE supports team-based projects. However, when I had an admin download JMWE for our team-based, cloud, Software project it does not appear under My Apps. Any advice?

I believe the problem is that JMWE only works on/or sees Jira level elements (like workflows and issue types). I am brand new to Jira and just testing it out in the free version and using a team based project since I could see my dev team (and not all dev teams in my company) wanting to use it and customize it by project. It looks like JMWE is not capable of this. I would love to be proven wrong if someone has more info.
