JQL Query only weekends?

Hi there.

Been searching but usually I find people trying to find the opposite of this. I'm trying to formulate a query that can search a date range and return only the tickets created on weekends. I don't really need any other info off them. Just X number of tickets made on Sat-Sun from start date to end date. 

So far I've come up dry, anyone have any suggestions or solutions?

I don't have days of week configured in my environment so I can't test it for you.

Thanks for that. I did come across that and was trying to get the start and end of weeks to help but they just kept taking my date range and giving no results Or i'd get from like the beginning of this week all the way back to the end of the week at the end of my search.  Maybe I did it wrong but seem fairly straight forward.
