JQL doesn't display percent complete

In JIRA the epics display a percent complete if you hover over the status bar.  When I run a JQL on my epics though and display the 'percent done" field it is always blank on the results.  How can I pull the percent complete that shows on the status bar of the epics?  Obviously the data is available based on the story points since it displays on the epics but other than on that page I cannot seem to pull this information on a JQL.

I have the same exact question as Linda.

Hi Linda,

Did you manage to find out how to work with that?

I cannot even find a 'percent done' field (custom or system field) in our Jira so I'm curious how you got to this conclusion.

I can see the "0% of estimated work done (0 of 0 Story Points)" for Epics that use story points when hovering over the Epic progress bar (only with Scrum boards) but I don't think there's a field available from the Jira GUI that you can search with JQL to get the percent done.

There are 'Remaining Estimate' and 'Story Points' fields available to display values from a filter but that does not seem to match what you are looking for.
