JQL duplicates?

Hey guys,

are the following JQL terms duplicates? If not, please provide a short description for the differences:

- created and createdDate

- due and dueDate

- type and issueType

- updated and updatedDate

Yes they are. Not sure why they exist TBH.

The aliases were created because people were not using the terms Atlassian created originally, and that was confusing people when they went to searches - you'd have a conversation talking about "when the issue is due" and then go to a search, type in "due" and get Jira saying it had no idea what you were talking about.

Makes sense; an attempt to make JQL more common language.

I guess the same counts for

- id and issuekey and issue
- originalEstimate and timeOriginalEstimate

Yes, these terms are aliases of one another.
