Hi guys,
I want to have a board that shows issues on multiple projects in one board, so I've created a JQL query to add it as a board filter query and I included all projects I want in it, I've added all projects to the "Shares" section on the "Board Settings", and I've mapped all issues statuses from all projects in the board columns.
The issue I'm facing is: when I run the query in the filters page (not in the board) it shows all issues as I want them perfectly, however, when I see the board that has that query, I can only see issues from a single project (the one that the board is located in).
I really can't figure out what I'm missing here, since there is no problem in the query's syntax but rather something in the board settings I guess. Can someone help?
Hi Dana, are all of the project Classic or some Next-gen? Is this Kanban or scrum? Are there any quick filters that might be influencing the results?
There are some know issue of multi-project boards that mix classic and next-gen, e.g. JSWCLOUD-17987
Oh I see! They are a mix of classic and next-gen projects, the board I'm using is Scrum but other projects included in the query have Kanban.
As for the filters, I don't think so, since issues don't show even if I have no other quick filters selected.

I suspect you are hitting a known issue of mixing Classic and NG on the same board. As a test pull our the NG or Classic projects from your filter and see what you experience.

I tried it both ways:
It seems that the NG issues and classic boards don't mix well together!

Yes this indeed is a known limitation. I expect they will probably address it in time.

Hi!
I am facing almost the same issue. Basis of JQL I can see 29 records on Filter but on board I can see only 5 issues. Query belongs to a single company-man project only.
What could be the reason ? Pl help
Thanks
