Javascript problem in jira5.0?

Hi,

We are using jira4.4 in our organisation now we are planning to migrate the jira version to jira 5.0. We tested all the functionality but in custiom field we are facing one issue. on the click of create issue the pop is loading but not opening the create issue page. But when we right click and open in new tab or new window then its working fine.\

Could you please suggest me the solution for this.

The problem is with the java script, javascript in 4.x doesnot supprot on 5.x because the UI changed lot.

if you want to create issue popup has to come first remove your java script from field configuration.

to fix the javascript use any debugging tools like firebug, javaconsole..

Try reproducing it in different browsers. It may be a browser specific issue.

I would suggest to clear the caches on your browser and test this on different browser as well. Moreover, if you are using IE8 or 9, please turn off the Compatibility View as this is not supported. More information on problems related to IE can check out this link.
