Jira 6.1 - import project from backup

while trying system --> project import, I'm getting error as "No 'issue' field for CustomFieldValue '298717'."

Are you importing to the exact same system? Does that custom field you're referring to exist with the same ID?

Here is the story. we are working on upgrade activity and we have two backup data 5.2.11 standalone backup and 6.1 ondemand backup. As per the atlassian support guideline and knownledge article help.

1. we upgraded 5.2.11 std to 6.1 std and restored 5.2.11 std backup.

2. Next backup of 6.1 std is taken and later database is cleared.

3. later in 6.1 std setup, 6.1 ondemand data is restored.

4. now i tried import project from 6.1 std backup and it ends with error message.

The plan is to restore ondemand data and import old projects from our 6.1 std backup.
