Jira 8.4.1 Adding custom fields to emails (batched notifications)

Hi 

We want to add a custom field and a problem field to the header and body of the batch email, but if we encounter some problems, we want to ask for help

1. I want to add the help desk "organization" field in the email header, I found this article https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver084/adding-custom-fields-to-emails-batched-notifications-979405169.html , I tried all the steps in the order (HTML format), made many attempts in "IssueUpdateBatcher-subject.vm" and "IssueUpdateBatcher-content.vm", and I would not get the value of "Organization" in the email
2. I want to add the system problem field "Priority" in the email header. I found the value of this field in "IssueUpdateBatcher-content.vm", and I moved it to "IssueUpdateBatcher-subject.vm" but it does not Show "Priority"

How can I show these two fields in the email where I need

ps:Jira software version is 8.4.1,batchers version is 1.3.2

Thank you for your reply, I got the desired effect when I tried the plug-in, but I encountered a new problem


How do I turn off jira's own email notification and JSD's email notification

I did not find where to turn off these notifications, even if I disabled the batchers system component

PS:Jira version is 8.4.1, JSD is built into Jira, version is 4.4.1

I have seen a few people asking similar questions in other threads but they never got resolved. Since modifying VM templates is unsupported I am not sure if we're going to find a solution anytime soon.

In the meantime, one option is to use a third party app like Notification Assistant for Jira  (we make this).

Hi Shadow,

To disable Service Desk notifications to your customers you would go to the Customer Notifications portion of the Project Configuration:

To disable notifications to your Agents you would go to the Notifications portion of your Project Configuration:
