Jira API between Cloud and Data Center Version

Hi,

 

i know that you can create a API between a data center instance and another data center instance, is it also possible to have a api between Cloud Version and Data center Version (when both have Jira 8)?

Both have different API responses but the principles are nearly the same.what are you attempting to do, that would clarify if its possible or not.

A Project should get synced to a different Instance with all Issues etc

Just use the two distinct APIs. I believe you should have an intermediary Application that  would push the data extracted from Cloud to Data center and vice versa. That should be the way to go about it. You should look into Jira webhooks for this.
