I'm trying to get information regarding my user's managers to JIRA/ JIRA Assets.
However my 'Assets Discovery - Users' won't bring their managers as a data locator. I've tried to configure this through my Active Directory configuration while following documentation, both from the main Group Directory as well as a new Group altogether.
This information does appear as a property on my Active Directory but i'm kinda stuck on how i can relate this information either on a Jira Assets Import or Jira User Directories.
I'm trying to bring it in a way that i can relate & call the user and their managers.
Hi @Nathan Vinicius Vital Santos ,
Thank you for your question. In Data Center there is the possibility to import ldap users into Asset, through LDAP Import feature presents inside a Asset schema admin section:
This kind of import allow you to specify the attributes you need to import in Asset. If you have the "Manager" attribute in Asset you can map it to Asset attribute:
For detailed documentation please refeer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicemanagementserver/ldap-import-1044784485.html
I hope it helps
I did get the information from Active Directory through this, now it's just a matter of filtering what i need.
Thanks!

I have only "tip-toed" into assets from the REST API side... maybe REST and/or this documentation will help you.
