Jira Calendar View is only showing all items for a particular day when we apply an assignee filter

Tim Parks October 23, 2024

The Calendar view is only showing all items for a particular day when we apply an assignee filter.

We have 6 stories assigned to the same day, 23rd October. Three are assigned to one person, the other three to a second person.

If we clear all assignee filters, we only see 4 items shown in the Jira Calendar View. See first image.

If we filter for the 2 people the tasks are assigned to, only then do we see all 6 items in the Jira Calendar View. See 2nd image.

Why is this?

Thanks

We have found the problem. We did not notice that we had exceeded 50 items in the calendar view! So a separate page was created. For certain day slots in the calendar view, some user stories were shown on the first page and the rest on the 2nd page.   page.png

Hi @Tim Parks

I tried to replicate in my site but couldn't reproduce the issue.

Are you able to reproduce the issue with a different data set? In a different project?

Thanks Fazila for the reply. Interestingly I am able, in the same Jira Project to see 6 items added to a different day correctly. I even set the state of each story to match that of the day showing the problem. I need to investigate more why 23rd October slot is not showing its 6 items correctly.
