Hey Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is a new feature - but in my personal profile, manage account I found the field 'nickname' which I've populated - but I'm struggling to work out what this does?

I thought given it has @ at the beginning it would be a replacement for mentions in comments, etc - but it still populates as my username and shows as such when saved.

Is there a setting I need to change here? Or could someone tell me its specific use?

Thanks,

Ste

Hi @Inactive Stephen,

Nickname can be used to mention in Confluence and Stride, but currently not available for Jira. There is an issue created for that please refer JRACLOUD-70246 and vote for the issue.

Thanks,
Ram.
