Since this morning, I have been unable to get Jira Cloud for Excel to login/connect to Jira. I enter the 6 number code and the browser window does nothing. I have tried restarting my computer and removing and readding the add-on

it looks like there may be an incident ongoing (see e.g. also this thread for a similar/same? problem and possible ways forward). Since the Jira/Excel integration is maintained by Atlassian, you may want to reach out to Atlassian Support.

Thanks Hannes, I raised the following ticket with Atlassian yesterday: Unable to get Jira Cloud for Excel to login/connect to Jira (atlassian.com) . No updates received yet though.

Same here. This has always been flaky but usually a PC restart will sort it, Not today however. Tried on different PC's and different versions of Windows/Office so think this is at the Atlassian end
Pressing F12 shows a message about null in the PostMessage when you view the console
