We're Jira in the cloud users, and we ran in the following issue today:
We have a mail handler set-up so we can create issues by email, and any attachments to that mail show up as attachments in the issues, as expected.
Until today (at least once), where a user sent a mail with attachment which created the ticket, but alas, no attachment! We did receive the comment
"Reporter does not have permission to create attachments in project SUP. Following attachments found in the email have been discarded"
The user in question has all the necessary permissions, as confirmed by the permissions helper.
I've found this issue from the past that resembles this misbehaviour, but it's solution suggests upgrading your jira instance, which isn't viable with jira in the cloud ofcourse...
Anyone have any pointers?
