Jira Custom field behavior

Please is it possible to get a custom field in a screen viewable only for a specific group ?

No, Jira doesn't do field level security. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/jra-1330 for the request, workarounds and discussions. Including a pointer to a field security plugin which I've heard good things about, but not used in anger myself (Quisapps)

Yes , you just need to select that screen when you add the customfield .

What I need is just that the custom field can be only visible (for the user connected) if he is in a specific jira group.
