Hello,
I see that there are "Comprehensive audit logging of user-initiated activity in Jira, including permission changes" available only in Jira Enterprise. Can you please elaborate further on this? I am looking at the Jira Activity Audit capabilities, does the Jira Premium plan not provide these logs? Or just some of them? We want to understand more specifically the different audit logging capabilities between Jira Enterprise and your other products.
Hi!
Comprehensive audit logging, such as user-initiated activities like permission changes, is only available in the Jira Enterprise plan.
The built-in audit logging is more limited for those on the Jira Premium plan. It does not offer the granular, organization-wide audit capabilities in the Enterprise plan.

Hello @Neil Hunt
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The document you references provides the feature comparison, and it indicates that User Activity audit logging is not part of the Premium plan.
The Audit Activities page you referenced lists the "site change" activities tracked in the Audit log, which is available in all paid plans.
I have not found a document that lists the User Activities that are tracked when you have the Enterprise plan.
I don't have access to any Enterprise plan systems at this time that I can look at to get that information.

Thank you for this information and distinction and yes, I'm interested to get further information about the specific User Activities. For a given issue, I can see the history of user actions on that issue; and as you mentioned site-level changes are audited here. So, what specifically is Enterprise plan logging that isn't already?
Is it the user activity log that shows up in Guard, since Guard includes its own audit activity log of specific user actions, and Enterprise includes Guard by default? We also (since we have Guard) receive those audit trails as well.
